In this project in Lviv, SPACE DESIGN combined calm modern minimalism, high functionality and bold design ideas, creating a comfortable home for a family.<\/p>\n<a class=\"read-more-link uk-text-bold read-more-link-open uk-display-block\" href=\"#read-more-content-2416\" data-uk-toggle=\"animation: uk-animation-fade\">Read more<\/a><div id=\"read-more-content-2416\" class=\"read-more-content\" hidden>\n<h2>How the two levels work together<\/h2>\n<p>In a two-level apartment it is easy to lose coherence, so we repeated the key materials on both floors: dark wood, white matt surfaces and black graphic accents. The guest zone downstairs is open and bright, while the private zone upstairs is quieter and warmer. A glass block partition lets light pass between zones, and hexagonal floor tiles mark out the kitchen without walls. Each level has its own character, yet the apartment reads as one space.<\/p>\n<h2>Ground floor: hallway, living room and kitchen<\/h2>\n<p>The ground floor starts with a hallway with deep dark wardrobe fronts that flows into a light living room. The main accent of the living room is a translucent glass block partition with the TV mounted on it: it zones the room, lets daylight through and adds a touch of retro charm. The kitchen plays on contrast, with dark wood base units and a white matt top tier, while the honeycomb-pattern floor makes the cooking area easy to clean and visually distinct.<\/p>\n<h2>How we work on a project<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Introduction: we discuss the task, budget and timeline and visit the premises or plot.<\/li>\n<li>Contract and brief: we define the function of each zone and your style preferences.<\/li>\n<li>Design development: layout, concept and 3D visualizations of every space.<\/li>\n<li>Technical drawings: a complete documentation package for the builders.<\/li>\n<li>Specification and procurement: selection of materials, furniture, lighting and appliances.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation: author&#8217;s supervision so the result matches the visualizations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This sequence makes the renovation predictable: decisions are made at the design stage rather than on the building site, so there are far fewer reworks and unplanned costs.<\/p>\n<h2>Frequently asked questions<\/h2>\n<h3>How much does an interior design project cost?<\/h3>\n<p>A full residential design project starts at $45 per m\u00b2 in Ukraine and at 200 PLN net per m\u00b2 in Poland. It includes layouts, 3D visualizations of every room, technical drawings and specifications.<\/p>\n<h3>Do I need author&#8217;s supervision?<\/h3>\n<p>We recommend it for any renovation: the designer visits the site regularly, checks the work against the drawings and resolves issues with contractors. Supervision costs $200 per month in Lviv and 1,500 PLN net per month in Warsaw, with a weekly site visit.<\/p>\n<h3>Can we work together from another city or country?<\/h3>\n<p>Yes. We have offices in Lviv and Warsaw and work with clients from other cities and countries online: meetings, approvals and documentation are all handled remotely.<\/p>\n<h3>What do you need to get started?<\/h3>\n<p>A floor plan or measurements, a few photos and your wishes on style and budget. At the first meeting, we put together a brief and propose the stages of work.<\/p>\n<h2>Two-level apartment design in Lviv<\/h2>\n<p>We clearly divided the home into a guest zone on the first floor and a private zone on the second. On the first floor, a hallway with deep dark wardrobe fronts leads into a bright living room. Its main accent is a <strong>glass-block partition<\/strong> that holds the TV: it zones the space, lets daylight through and adds a touch of retro charm.<\/p>\n<p>The kitchen is built on contrast: dark wood textures on the lower fronts and white matt upper cabinets. Hexagonal floor tiles flow into laminate and visually separate the working area from the lounge. The master bedroom is in calm light tones with warm mustard-yellow accents. The bed headboard is finished with soft wall panels in an asymmetric geometric pattern.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a bright, safe and cosy nursery: white furniture, a minimalist cot, a comfortable armchair for the parents and walls with a delicate pattern.<\/p>\n<h3>Bathrooms<\/h3>\n<p>The guest WC under the stairs is finished with deep grey plaster and white hexagonal tiles that echo the kitchen.
