Task

To develop the interior of an apartment for a family of three people and save the maximum amount of space in common areas: hallway, kitchen and living room.

SPACE team decision

Getting acquainted with the space, we discovered that the windows from the bedroom and living room face the park, due to which insufficient amount of sunlight enters the apartment. This inspired us for a laconic interior in pastel colors, which will visually expand the room and make it much brighter.

The task of freeing up the maximum amount of space prompted us to implement several interesting features.

First, we combined the space of the kitchen and the living room, creating a large hall, not separated by a door. After the redevelopment, we got a really spacious living room, where it is convenient to spend cozy movie nights. For this purpose, the apartments provide a large screen, which is lowered on top of the TV, and on the large sofa opposite, not only the family will fit, but also their friends.

Secondly, our team decided to use hidden installation doors of 2.5 meters high, which makes the space visually higher. In addition, we removed the window sills in the windows leading to the terrace – this increased the amount of light that will enter the apartment.

Finally, in the master bathroom we used a stretch light LED ceiling, which, in addition to its direct purpose, is perceived as a “second light”.
