What residential interior design includes
We develop design projects for private houses, cottages and apartments — both to live in and to rent out. Each format has its specifics: a home for permanent living is designed around the family’s habits and rhythm, while a rental space is planned to appeal to a wide range of tenants straight away and to be easy to maintain. The project includes the layout, finishing materials, lighting, furniture and decor — all brought together into one visual concept. We consider not only aesthetics but also practical things: the position of sockets and switches, storage and zoning for different activities throughout the day.
Interior design cost
A full apartment design project starts from $45 per m² in Ukraine and from PLN 200 net per m² in Poland. It includes layout options, 3D visualizations of every room, working drawings and a specification of materials and furniture. The final price depends on the floor area and complexity of the project. Author’s supervision is charged separately, from $200 per month. Get a quote for my project
How we work on residential interior design
Work begins with an in-depth interview: we learn about your lifestyle, habits, preferred colours and materials, and practical constraints — budget, timeline and features of the premises. Based on this we prepare the first layout. We then develop several layout options, agree the style and colour palette and prepare realistic 3D visualisations of every room. The approved concept becomes the basis for working documentation — drawings, material specifications and furniture lists. If you wish, we accompany the project on site — design supervision makes sure the renovation and final decor match the approved design exactly.
Who this service is for
Residential interior design suits owners of houses and apartments who want a home designed around their way of life rather than a standard solution. It is also relevant for owners of property for long- or short-term rent — a well-thought-out design makes the property more attractive and easier to maintain. It works both for a complete renovation from scratch and for updating individual areas of an existing home. Whatever the scale, every project starts with the same careful analysis of the space and the client’s needs.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order a design for just one room rather than the whole apartment?
Yes, we take on full apartment and house projects as well as individual rooms — a bedroom, kitchen or living room.
How many layout options do you offer?
The number is agreed individually depending on the complexity — usually we offer several alternative layouts before settling on the final concept.
Can I change decisions during the project?
Yes, you can make changes while the concept and visualisations are being agreed — that is a normal part of the process until the project moves to working documentation.
Do you take rental requirements into account?
Yes, for rental properties we choose more durable materials and a more neutral aesthetic that appeals to a wider range of tenants, while keeping the space well-designed and high-quality.
Materials and style for your way of life
We always match materials to how the space will really be used: for a family with children or pets we suggest more practical, hard-wearing solutions, and for a quiet, intimate space — more delicate textures and colours. We shape the style not by passing trends but by what you truly like and what will stay relevant for years. We also consider the climate and the orientation of the windows when choosing lighting and colours — this affects how cosy and balanced the space feels at different times of day. Residential interior design by Space Design is a solution built around your needs, not a template. Leave a request on the website and we’ll discuss what your space should be like.
