Classic details in a modern apartment
In Lviv 19th, stucco mouldings, slim panel trims and contemporary lights don’t compete — they enhance each other. Classic elements give the apartment elegance and emphasise the ceiling height, while simple furniture and the graphic lines of the lights keep the interior from becoming theatrical. A grey, black and white palette keeps this mix calm: any new accent, from a painting to textiles or a plant, fits easily into the space.
A bedroom that combines two styles
The bedroom shows this approach best. Mouldings on the walls frame the space, and a modern ring pendant gives soft, cosy light and draws the eye upwards. Dark accents in the furniture and textiles add depth, while the light walls keep the room airy. The kitchen and bathroom follow the same logic: functional, easy-to-clean surfaces with a few graphic details that tie them to the rest of the apartment.
How we work on a project
- Introduction: we discuss the task, budget and timeline and visit the premises or plot.
- Contract and brief: we define the function of each zone and your style preferences.
- Design development: layout, concept and 3D visualizations of every space.
- Technical drawings: a complete documentation package for the builders.
- Specification and procurement: selection of materials, furniture, lighting and appliances.
- Implementation: author’s supervision so the result matches the visualizations.
This sequence makes the renovation predictable: decisions are made at the design stage rather than on the building site, so there are far fewer reworks and unplanned costs.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an interior design project cost?
A full residential design project starts at $45 per m² in Ukraine and at 200 PLN net per m² in Poland. It includes layouts, 3D visualizations of every room, technical drawings and specifications.
Do I need author’s supervision?
We recommend it for any renovation: the designer visits the site regularly, checks the work against the drawings and resolves issues with contractors. Supervision costs $200 per month in Lviv and 1,500 PLN net per month in Warsaw, with a weekly site visit.
Can we work together from another city or country?
Yes. We have offices in Lviv and Warsaw and work with clients from other cities and countries online: meetings, approvals and documentation are all handled remotely.
What do you need to get started?
A floor plan or measurements, a few photos and your wishes on style and budget. At the first meeting, we put together a brief and propose the stages of work.
Bedroom design: classic meets modern
The bedroom in this project combines classic and contemporary elements. Wall mouldings add elegance, and a modern ring pendant light gives soft, cosy light and emphasises the ceiling height. The palette of grey, black and white creates a calm, stylish mood, and the wooden floor adds natural warmth.
Bathroom and kitchen: function and style
The bathroom combines a freestanding bathtub on metal feet in a vintage style with marble on the walls and washbasin. A transparent shower curtain, expressive marble textures and a wooden floor bring warmth and a sense of luxury.
In the kitchen, white-and-blue tiles with a geometric pattern create a bold accent. Black matt kitchen fronts contrast with the classic wall texture, a marble worktop adds durability, and large windows bring in daylight that visually enlarges the space.
SPACE DESIGN takes an individual approach to every project. Whether you prefer modern minimalism, classic elegance or a cosy Scandinavian style, we will turn your ideas into an interior.
