Our main mission was to create an interior design project that would allow residents to unwind after a busy day in the city. To ensure that every family member feels comfortable, we avoided overbearing accents and focused on clean, modern lines and materials. We paid special attention to lighting in the apartment’s design; to highlight key areas, we developed multiple lighting schemes and ensured the intuitive placement of electrical fixtures.
Read moreUpon entering the penthouse, we find ourselves in an entryway separated from the kitchen-living room area by a spacious glass closet. To the right, behind mirrored doors, is a guest bathroom featuring a floor-mounted sink, a mirrored wall finished with a gradient coating, and a lighted LED stretch ceiling.
The main highlight of the living room is the wide convertible sofas. Thanks to their “removable” backrests, they easily change their configuration and can be used by large groups for various types of leisure activities.
The dominant feature of the kitchen is the island, part of which is supported by a glass pillar, and an induction cooktop is built into the porcelain stoneware countertop. Behind the countertop, we can see a functional backsplash that helps organize small items and keep them within easy reach while cooking. The floor features large-format, solid-color porcelain stoneware tiles measuring 1200×1200, which helps create a sense of spatial unity.
There is also a children’s room on the first floor with its own bathroom and walk-in closet. To give the child a private space to play, we’ve set up a small area covered by a canopy; next to it is a special bed with large, soft side rails, and the gradient-patterned wallpaper will remain stylish even as the room’s occupant enters her teenage years.
After climbing the stairs to the second floor, as outlined in the interior design plan, we enter the home theater area. The apartment’s design features a large screen and a spacious sofa for comfortable movie-watching with family or friends.
Across from the movie theater is the second children’s room. It also has its own bathroom. For entertainment, there is a large play area with mats, ropes, and a climbing wall.

One of the main rooms in the house is the master bedroom, which—unlike the rest of the apartment—is decorated in dark tones. It features a full-size double bed, a large wardrobe, and a vanity table. And the niche, decorated with a living wall of preserved flowers, has become one of the focal points of this room.
The bedroom features a private en suite bathroom. It is separated by a glass door made of frosted glass. Most of the bathroom is finished with dark stone-textured porcelain tile, though the floor features a herringbone pattern with light-colored accents. The bathroom features a laundry area, a large double sink, and a freestanding bathtub—perfect for relaxing while watching TV, which slides out of a cabinet— and if there’s no time for a bath, you can always relax in the equally spacious shower.
You can also access a unique space—the game room—through the bedroom. This is the homeowner’s personal space, where he spends his free time. It’s a soundproofed room equipped with a computer, a TV, and a recliner, but the main highlight of this room is an aquarium filled with jellyfish.
And the surprises don’t end there. The penthouse has two terraces. One is a shared space where the family and their friends will gather to relax together, enjoy BBQ evenings, and meditatively take in the city views. The second terrace is private and features a large four-person hot tub and lounge chairs, perfect for relieving stress and unwinding after the hectic pace of city life.
