Smart People Office Design: A Modern Space for Learning, Collaboration, and Growth
Smart People is a prime example of how a well-designed space can reinforce a company’s mission, boost team productivity, and create a comfortable environment for executive training. SPACE DESIGN studio developed an interior that supports the core values of Smart People: openness, teamwork, structure, mobility, and motivation.
Smart People (www.smartpeople.ua) is well-known for its educational programs for entrepreneurs and top managers. Therefore, the office design required a blend of corporate identity with high functional demands for classrooms, workspaces, lounge areas, and meeting rooms.
Our task was to create an office interior that is simultaneously modern, dynamic, technological, and psychologically comfortable. Color accents, architectural solutions, and furnishings were designed specifically to accommodate the work scenarios of the Smart People team and their students.
Emphasis on Teamwork and Motivation: Identity in Space
A key element of the office design is the clear integration of corporate messages. Words like TEAM, MOTIVATION, FOCUS, and SOLVE PROBLEMS THAT MATTER are present on the walls, in navigation, and throughout the zoning. They define the character of the place and remind the team of their business goals every day.
The space is built on the principle of “openness,” reflecting the Smart People approach to education. The entrance area with the reception desk creates the first impression of the brand: sharp geometric lines, metallic surfaces, natural light, and minimalist design emphasize the company’s professionalism and dynamism.
Functional Lounge Areas and Spaces for Informal Meetings
In this project, we provided several lounge areas with soft poufs, armchairs, and modular sofas. These zones allow students and the team to relax between lectures, have casual conversations, or discuss educational materials.
Maximum flexibility of the space plays a crucial role: the furniture is easily movable, which is vital for Smart People activities such as workshops, small group sessions, and brainstorming.
Green partitions and open metal shelving units form a living visual structure and divide the space into functional blocks. This makes the large office feel cozier while maintaining a sense of space and freedom.
Classrooms: Productivity through Ergonomics
Learning spaces are the heart of Smart People’s activities, so they were designed with meticulous attention to detail.

High-quality LED lighting with minimal eye fatigue.
An accent wall with the Smart People logo and motivational inscriptions inspires program participants, strengthens the branding, and creates a recognizable style for the educational space. Decorative brick walls add texture and contrast, while bright red and deep blue elements provide the right visual rhythm.
Meeting Rooms and Meeting Booths: Privacy in an Open Space
For online meetings, consultations, and individual mini-sessions, we created compact meeting booths — separate acoustic cabins with glass doors. We also provided a full-scale meeting room equipped with a large table, TV panel, and acoustic treatment. This allows the team to work with focus, even in a dynamic office environment.
Executive Office: Understated Premium
A separate part of the office is the private executive room. It is designed in a more restrained, monochrome color palette with an emphasis on graphic surfaces and premium furniture.

Kitchen and Coffee Zone: Comfort in Every Detail
SPACE DESIGN created a spacious kitchen area that allows the team and students to have a quick snack, prepare coffee, or take a short break between classes. The kitchen interior is finished in subtle dark tones complemented by warm lighting. High tables and open shelves add lightness, while a refrigerator with branded products maintains the visual style of the location.
